Position Summary

This position is responsible for day-to-day restaurant operations in the Ocala area by providing leadership, motivating team members, and meeting operational expectations. The General Manager is to understand the top priorities of our company, which is being Family First, Safe/Healthy second and Happy last. The General Manager is responsible for driving sales, profitability and the culture in the restaurant while maintaining a consistent customer experience and operational compliance. The General Manager will be able to grow with the company and will be given the opportunity for rapid growth.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working very closely with the Regional Manager to develop the Pensacola area.
  • Responsible for multiple stores.
  • Accountable for all aspects of the restaurant's operations and financial performance standards for multiple restaurants.
  • Build an effective staff through training and development, supplying meaningful and timely performance feedback.
  • Observe and assess team member training, provide feedback and conduct meetings as necessary to ensure effective training.
  • Support the development of management by assessment of individual performance, coaching fundamentals, and clearly defining expectations and goals.
  • Identify and align team members’ strengths/capabilities with tasks, goals, and development.
  • Demonstrate respect for individual employees and show appreciation for their efforts and contributions.
  • Manage operational details, ensure maintenance, and provide effective communication to ensure an ever-improving guest experience.
  • Promote the delivery and rollout of new products, marketing initiatives, technology, operational programs, and procedures.
  • Provide informative communication and feedback to District and Regional Managers on issues which drive the improvement of operations, including new programs to support operations and growth.
  • Handle and resolve guest issues with the commitment to satisfactory resolution.
  • Exhibit leadership through a strong involvement in all aspects of operations, including being strongly involved in the community.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to increasing efficiencies in operations and staffing.
  • Ability to make good decisions under pressure.
  • Manage cost of goods sold, labor, and controllable expenses.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and is in working order.
  • Develop strategies to ensure operational progress, sales growth and employee retention.
  • Responsible for hiring.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned within the scope of the position.

Desired Skills & Proficiencies

  • Sound leadership skills.
  • Must have a High School Education
  • 5-7 years Restaurant management experience required.
  • Must have multi-unit experience
  • Ability to influence diverse groups effectively.
  • Must have the ability to train in an effective way
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient with profit and loss statements.
  • Outstanding customer service skills along with the ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Technically competent in all aspects of restaurant operating systems, learning systems and typical desktop software.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Must pass background check
  • Must pass drug test

  • Occasionally travel by automobile.
  • Occasionally travel by airline.
  • Available evenings, nights and weekends.
  • Available to work 50 hours a week.
