******CHEP Services is hiring for General Labor/Pallet Sorter******

We are looking for hardworking employees willing to learn, and who possess a good attendance history. We have multiple shift positions available for our Zanesville location (inside the Dollar General Distribution Center). Position starts out at $16.00 per hour + a $.50 an hour attendance incentive.

Requirements of the position:

• Standing, bending, lifting for 3/4 of the shift
• Able to lift, or assist in lifting 25-75 pounds repeatedly
• Performing the job in a safe manner within the company’s process
• Following training and direction from shift leads, site manager
• Reporting any unsafe conditions.
• Helping improve operations by mentioning possible improvements
• Performing general housekeeping throughout the shift.

What we are looking for:

• Strong attendance
• Willingness to perform duties of the position
• Drive to grow within the company
• Able to work as a team member with other employees
• Forklift experience is a plus. Training on forklift and EPJ will begin once you are trained and certified on sorting operations

Requirements:

• Physically able to perform the daily duties mentioned above
• Previous experience on a sit-down, L.P. forklift (desired but not required)
• Attention to detail
• Able to adjust to a changing work schedule (notice given when changes are needed)
• Desire to excel and move up within the company when opportunities come available

Shift

• 1stshift: 6am – 4:30pm ( Monday-Thursday)
• 2ndshift: 6pm – 4:30am ( Monday – Thursday)
• Weekend shift: 6am – 6pm (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
