YOUR DAILY ROLE

A General Laborer wears many hats in our dump rooms. They are responsible for all facets of raw product handling. They stage and open raw product totes, break down and stack empty totes and pallets, and are responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of the room and areas that they are assigned to. They are also asked to train as backups to all primary positions in the room, Dock checkers, Dump Operators, and Lift Truck Operators.

What qualifications and skills do I need to be successful?

First and foremost you need to be dependable. It doesn’t matter how good an employee you are if you’re not at work doing the job. We are willing to train candidates so long as they possess the required aptitude and desire to work as part of a team. Successful dump room laborers are comfortable working in very cold conditions, and enjoy the physicality that this type of position requires.
