The Landis+Gyr Co-op program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students with the option of integrating academic study with related, work-based learning. Positions begin Summer 2023 and applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program and available for an alternating rotating semester schedule:
- Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers.
- Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
General Engineering Lab Rotation (First Rotation)
- Compliance Testing and Applications (80%)
o Introduction to Compliance Engineering and Testing Methods
o Data Collection, Evaluation and Analysis
o Interpretation of International and Domestics Standards and test procedures
o Test Equipment Calibration and Certification
o Engineering evaluation of component, assembly and product
- Continuous Improvement Project Focused on Test System Design and Automation (20%)

- Advance Compliance Testing and Applications (50%)

o WECO Active, Reactive, and VA testing Project
o WECO Demand Testing Automation Project
o WECO Instantaneous Metric Automation Project
o Verification of Meter Constant/Billing Accuracy Automation Project.
o IEC EFTB calibration Fixture project.
o Coop Training documentation and modernization project.

- Personal Computer knowledge
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Keyboard/typing skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Required Experience:
Co-op applicants must be an undergraduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Engineering, Engineering Technology, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Data Science or other relevant major required.
