The Fort Wayne TinCaps, High-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, are looking to hire new part-time members for the gameday video production crew. The production crew helps provide entertainment on the Parkview Field video board for live content such as Fan Cams and other on-field games with competing fans between innings. The TinCaps also broadcast all home games including a stream on MiLB.tv. Prior to the 2021 season, the TinCaps upgraded to all new HD cameras, control room equipment and LED video displays around the ballpark. Candidates should be enthusiastic about sports, live broadcasts, have a general understanding of baseball and have some experience in video production. Live video production experience is desired. We prefer our video production employees to be available to work as many games as possible to maintain a quality broadcast. We are open to working around school schedules as well as working with those who have other jobs.

Part-Time Positions available:
DIRECTORS / TECHNICAL DIRECTORS
The Director works closely with the Producer to make a lot of the decisions for our TV Broadcast and is viewed as a leader of the production. The director is the one who calls out camera shots and replays. The TD operates the control surface for the director. We are looking for a Director to work the majority of games.

CAMERA OPERATORS
The TinCaps are looking for quality camera operators who have experience shooting sports and a general understanding of baseball. On average, this position requires being on your feet for 4-5 hours with no breaks. There are five cameras. Four of the camera locations are with tripods and the fifth camera is hooked up to a wireless pack, operated on shoulder and roams around the ballpark.

REPLAY OPERATORS
Instant replays are an essential part of our production. There is one replay operator per game. Previous experience with replay operation is desired, but not required. This is a fast-paced position that requires good communication as well as quick decision-making and the ability to keep up with a rigorous workflow.
Replay system used: Newtek 3Play 440

BROADCAST GRAPHICS OPERATORS
The graphics operator updates and controls the graphic library for each live broadcast. This person does not create the templates but is responsible for setting up the graphics and updating them pregame, during the game and post game. This position is also responsible for video clip playback.
Graphics system used: ChyronHego Prime MX CG Playout

BROADCAST AUDIO OPERATORS
Live audio experience desired. This person is responsible for operating an audio board with over 16 channels and setting up the NAT sound mic in the ballpark. This position is required to closely monitor all audio channels for broadcast.
Audio console used: Allen & Heath SQ-5

CONTROL ROOM CCU OPERATOR/SHADER (CAMERA CONTROL UNIT)
This person is responsible for keeping up with color correction and image control of 4 cameras. This will include white balance, gain, iris and shutter control.

• Note: The season starts in April and runs through mid-September. Availability to work the majority of the season is preferred.
