Our client, a multinational investment bank and financial services firm, is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Fund Accountants to join their growing team for their Chicago, IL location! This is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for the oversight of day to day operations of numerous investment companies with various strategies. We are looking for Fund Accountants with Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, or Private Credit experience.

Mutual Fund Accountant

Qualifications:

• Ideally 3+ years of experience in Fund Administration or Fund Accounting (CPA a plus)
• Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and the 1940 Act is a plus
• Experience working with portfolio accounting systems to investigate and resolve issues
• A university degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering all on time
• An understanding of Fund Accounting and Mutual Fund reporting requirements
• An understanding of various investment types (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
• Well organized and able to multi-task
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel | Word| Outlook | Teams
• Comfortable working with new systems and technology
• Highly motivated and proactive with a can-do attitude

Private Credit/Private Equity Fund Accounting ( Associate Director and Director Level Roles)

Qualifications:

• Ideally 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or asset management; experience in the hedge fund or financial services business is preferred
• Solid Excel skills and a strong attention to details
• Financial background and experience in fund accounting is an advantage
• A high level of personal responsibility and an independent, proactive working approach
• Integrity, loyalty and great team spirit
• Bachelor degree with subject focus on finance or accounting preferred
• Keen to embrace the challenge to work within a constantly evolving environment, while constantly striving to enhance your knowledge and skill set

Benefits:

Package will include Base Salary + Bonus + 401K Match + PTO + Benefits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
