AUSTIN, TX- High-profile family with fast-paced lifestyle, and staffed home near Tarrytown, is looking for a second FULL-TIME NANNY/MOTHERS HELPER to join their household! They have three boys ages 6 years old, 4 years old 6 months old. They are ideally looking for a nanny to act as an assistant/mothers helper to mom. The position would tag team to care for either the 2 older boys or the baby and light housekeeping. Ideally, they are looking for an older sister vibe who has lots of energy and loves to interact and play with the boys!
Must have at least 2 years minimum experience with children under the age of 6, interactive, personable, friendly, situational awareness, and high emotional intelligence. Regardless of your specific work experience, they are looking for a team player, not necessarily an alpha nanny, but someone who is able to get along well with others, is fun, sophisticated, resilient, loving & willing to help do whatever it takes to get the job done!
Schedule is typically Tuesday to Saturday, evening and weekends, with morning backup if needed. Schedule may change from time to time with advanced notice. Candidate should be flexible and can fly by the seat of their pants, no baggage and able to travel where needed for long periods (two weeks) at a time. Mostly staycations to lake home at this point.
Pay 25-35 per hour, commensurate with experience via payroll + Health Insurance + 10 days paid vacation + 5 sick days. Pay is based on your prior work experience, level of education and credentials. Their ideal candidate is someone who is playful and interactive, hands-on and engaging; creative and thoughtful-- someone who is a career nanny and who is always two steps ahead in their approach and deeply cares about the children's best interests.
They have two cats and a dog – King Charles Spaniel puppy (must love animals, no allergies)! They are also hoping to find someone who loves to travel and has experience traveling with multiple children at once! Family is seeking candidates looking for a minimum of a two-year contract. They provide you with a nanny vehicle.
Expectations/ Job Duties: Childcare related duties, light housekeeping & laundry, someone who is fully invested with their emotional, physical, developmental well-being, loading and unloading the dishwasher; option for also taking on household management responsibilities. We will only consider candidates who are looking at this position as a long-term commitment!
