**SIGNING BONUS: $1,000. $500 at start, another $500 after 6 months of employment**

Hours are 8am-530pm with a sixty minute lunch break.

Artisan Childcare Center is a Music and Arts based Early Childhood Center with locations in Newton, Woburn and Cambridge. We currently offer care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age. We are in search of a nurturing and passionate educator to join our Artisan team. Our educators focus on social and emotional development through play by offering children the opportunity to explore in both the classroom and natural world. Early academics are also incorporated to ensure children are prepared for their next steps in education. At Artisan, classroom teachers have autonomy when planning theme-based curriculum and activities. We especially love when teachers bring their own passions and interests into the classroom! Incorporating creativity, visual and performing arts, sensory activities, cultural exploration and family are all encouraged at Artisan.

We currently operate centers out of Woburn, Newton, Weston, and Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall supervision of a group of children.
• Implement and create lesson plans.
• Follow EEC regulations to provide a healthy and safe environment.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized classroom.
• Assess the development of each child to write progress reports.
• Attend staff meetings.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Childcare (ages 3-5): 1 year (Preferred)
