Responsible for demonstrating a love of food and passion for people that includes incredible Customer Service and performance excellence through department knowledge and technical expertise. As a Food Service member, the Food Service Clerk promotes and delivers a shopping experience focused on providing customers the level of service to which we have publicly committed by providing efficient service through hands-on knowledge of Food Service products. The Food Service clerk adheres to organizational procedures, policies and systems including food quality standards and food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Food Service Clerk is focused on driving sales through suggestive selling, sampling, recipe ideas and promoting sales events.

-Working knowledge of Food Service legal, safety, and sanitation SOP’s.
-Consistent execution of all Food Service SOP’s.

Performance Focus – Assists financial results in Sales and Supplies and Shrink Management.
-Accomplished SELLING skills results in additional Sales.
-Suggestive SELLS and Samples short-coded product.
-Communicates code dating issues
-Communicates Shrink opportunities
-Monitors product quality to reduce Shrink
-Utilizes appropriate supplies to reduce costs

Planning Focus – Plans work duties appropriately during scheduled, Identifies department opportunities during scheduled shift and responds accordingly shift to accomplish all assigned tasks
