Marketing & Communications Position Summary

The Marketing & Communications Specialist supports the Trinity Health At Home marketing and communications team in planning and executing internal and external Communication & Marketing Plans. The Specialist will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to create and implement projects to achieve business growth and communication goals for the organization.

Must be deadline driven and can anticipate needs for timely communications. Strong interpersonal client relationship skills are vital as the position works closely with internal clients to develop content and gain approvals from clinical leaders, executives, and administrators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing or another related field

  • Three years of experience in communication, marketing and/or agency experience

Skilled in:

  • Organizing work and paying attention to details

  • Using Microsoft Office products proficiently

  • Creating engaging content – copywriting, photography, videography

Ability to:

  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, including AP Style writing

  • Manage numerous and overlapping projects, including prioritizing projects under tight deadlines

  • Work well in a team as well as independently

  • Think creatively and implement ideas effectively

  • Prioritize issues with flexibility

  • Be comfortable with changing priorities

Essential Functions

Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the Mission, Vision, Values and Guiding Behaviors of Trinity Health and Trinity Health At Home.

Internal & External Communications

  • Writes and distributes internal communications for Trinity Health At Home’s colleagues and leaders

  • Manages e-newsletters and other publications

  • Produces internal communication content, including creative copy writing, photography, videos, etc.

  • Reviews and edits communications to follow Trinity Health brand voice and standards.

  • Manages the SharePoint Online intranet

  • Plans content and logistics for virtual town halls and other internal events

  • Proposes new ways to effectively communicate with a mobile, national workforce.

  • Writes press releases and content for media interviews

  • Responds to inquiries from patients, donors, and the public

  • Other duties as assigned

Marketing

  • Writes original copy for social media, websites, creative promotional materials including printed materials, email and advertising campaigns and supports strategy presentations

  • Partners with the Graphic Designer to create visual content for health care provider-facing and patient and consumer-facing marketing materials including brochures, flyers, and promotional goods

  • Writes original social media and website content

  • Partners with the Digital Marketing Manager to produce digital marketing content

  • Responsible for administrative duties including compiling and managing a multi-brand library of printed and promotional marketing materials and coordinating production of printed and promotional items

  • Assists with market research

  • Assists with promotional activities

  • Manages marketing campaigns

  • Supports planning for marketing events

  • Other duties as assigned
