We are seeking an Assistant Director to join and lead our team of passionate professionals in providing superior customer service and promoting school readiness.


Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of One (1) Year Verifiable experience in a child care or preschool setting
  • Minimum High School Diploma, CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to pass a child abuse and neglect clearance and criminal history check
  • Open availability to work a standard 8 hour shift between the hours of 6:30am-6:00 pm

Overview

The Office Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Program Director. Working closely with the Program Director, this individual will provide support focusing on state and local compliance requirements and quality early childhood educational experiences across the program. Job Duties Include:

  • Supporting the director in all aspects of operations to ensure program compliance.
  • Filling in for teachers in the classroom as needed
  • Assisting teachers with development and execution of curriculum and activities that are developmentally appropriate
  • Purchasing supplies, equipment, food, etc
  • Managing online lead management system and updating waitlist
  • Ensuring that the program operates with the utmost safety and security in mind
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reporting Requirements
  • Developing and Producing documents in various MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and other programs
  • Corresponding with families through parent engagement app, newsletters, in-person, and over-the-phone
  • Providing excellent customer service skills
  • Scheduling and conducting center tours and managing organization-wide wait list
  • Other Duties As Assigned
