Connecting stranded drivers with nearby help!

At Zippy Roadside Inc. we are building a customer-focused SaaS product for the roadside assistance market, which is a $6.9B industry in the Philippines and India. Though fast changing, the motor club industry is archaic with annual pricing and old school inefficiencies. Customers normally would call moto clubs for help and wait for assistance to come in from service providers.

We are going to take the guesswork out of trying to find help when your car breaks down. We make it easy for drivers in the Philippines and India to connect with either a nearby service provider or a gig worker. Rather than having to find a provider on their own, customers can feel safe in knowing that someone is coming to help. If a customer needs a jumpstart, a tow, fuel and more, we can connect them with someone who can help.

We have spent 4 years as members in the motor club industry, from having memberships to traditional motor clubs to new ones, and from our time working hand in hand in the industry. We are looking for the right person to join our small team, own a part in our future and help lead the build out of this category-defining product.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Taking product design from wireframes to functioning HTML and CSS.
• Developing reusable front-end components and modules
• Documenting UI and component standards
• Fostering code reuse through the application of DRY principles in your UI development

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to do the job. Your demonstrated ability to do the job is far more impressive than any degree or diploma. We respect academic excellence and will appreciate it if you bring that to the table, but at the end-of-the-day, what really matters is your ability to do the job.

Candidate must be skilled and experienced in the following:

• Detail oriented Self-starter with the ability to work proficiently both individually and within a team.
• HTML, CSS and Material UI
• Basic Angular skills
• Familiar with Less and Sass
• Source control tools like Git / GitHub
• Ability to turn mockups and high-fidelity wireframes into a usable UI
• Understanding of responsive design and touch interface interaction techniques and be in sync with recent design standards and trends
• Understanding of the limitations of web and mobile, with approaches/ideas to flex those boundaries. A solid portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating great user‐centered design solutions across multiple interfaces and screen sizes.
• Create user‐centered designs for software projects by considering customer feedback
• Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow of new web and on‐device software applications
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and cross‐functional teams to ensure that designs are successfully created and implemented to achieve the user goals

Preferred Qualifications :

• Ability to work in a cross team environment
• Knowledgeable of geospatial applications
• Experience is VSCode
