We are looking for a front desk receptionist at a fun and high energy chiropractic office in oakland Maine. Job responsibilities are primarily schedule and take payments from patients, aswer the phone to schedule new patients, basic clerical responsibilities such as keep an eye on supply levels, print notes and help patients check in if they are not comfortable with a laptop. The applicant will need to be focused, friendly, and a great people person since they are the first staff person patients meet upon entering. The chiropractic office is very wellness based, educational, and alot of laid back fun. We have an office dog that helps greet patients as well. The office was recently redone with new computers etc. This office has grown 98% in 8 months since we bought it and is breaking records every month in respect to growth. Office attire is laid back, both Doctors wear jeans to work and forgo the white coat. i would describe the office as a "country office." Even though we do foster a fun office environment this office is not a good fit for applicants who show up to work late or make excuses. We all have a great time at the office but we all show up with our game face on. expect 37- 43 hours a week average, flexible lunches from 30 minutes up to 2 hours if needed. We work half day fridays so 2.5 day weekends apply to all staff!. Reliability is a standard trait applicant must have.
