American Marine La Crosse is looking for summer help!

Spend your summer on the water as the front desk receptionist at our family-owned La Crosse, WI location. This new position is ideal for a student or someone with summers free and has the potential for off-season hours for the right hire.

Daily responsibilities (more information below) largely consist of greeting customers in-person and on the phone and routing to the appropriate person, processing payments, and assisting with daily office operations.
If that's not enough, position will also include participation in summer marina events. Enjoy great river views and spend your summers on the water!

General Responsibilities

• Greets walk-in customers and assists as necessary
• Answers & routes inbound phone calls; monitors and responds to voicemails
• Collects customer payments in person, over the phone, and through online pay
• Receives and processes incoming mail; prepares outgoing mail
• Assists with register batching and cash processing
• Notifies sales team of walk-in customers and appointment arrivals
• Assists in creation of marketing materials (such as signage or brochures) for location
• Assists Store Coordinator as needed with office tasks (such as paperwork scanning or copies, mailings, supply orders, etc.)

*Please note: this is currently a seasonal full-time position, working 9A-5P Monday-Friday approximately May-September. We have some flexibility in hours/days for applicants who may have school or employment conflicts during the beginning and end of the position term.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
