We are an established professional private practice in Grand Rapids that is looking for a full-time office assistant. We are looking for a well-rounded individual that has great people skills and who takes pride in their work. We run a friendly office with No Weekend Hours and Holidays Off. The successful candidate should be detail oriented and able to multi-task. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to our patients and emphasize quality patient care. Primary duties will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry, insurance verification, and payment posting. This highly motivated individual will also cross train for clinical responsibilities including preparing the patient to see the optometrist, which includes measuring eye pressure, taking blood pressure, performing visual acuities, as well as taking a health history from the patient and other various tasks that are needed to keep a very busy office running smoothly.

Office is conveniently located right off the highway. Wage is commensurate with experience. We love what we do and you must, too.

Benefits

Wage is commensurate with experience. 1 week vacation after six months as well as personal days after 90 days. Benefits begin after 90 days and include health insurance, vision coverage, and retirement savings plan after 2 years.
