Front Desk Manager – Enzian Inn Leavenworth, WA

Partial Job Description

Our family owned and operated hotel in Leavenworth is searching for someone to lead, encourage and develop our Front Desk Team as they provide guest relations services to our hotel guests. Working closely with our General Manager and other Department Supervisors this person works across the hotel establishing and continuing effective communications and enthusiasm for an enjoyable team oriented working environment.

Job Duties:

• Ensures communication between the front desk team and the other departments in the hotel is accurate and timely. Provides training and leadership to front desk team for their roles in hotel operations.
• Flexibility in schedule is necessary to spend time with each hotel shift and front desk team member. The FDM works across positions and staffed shifts depending on a variety of factors including staffing, hotel volume and necessary training and coaching times, thus shifts could be mornings or nights, weekends and holidays depending on where the needs are. Previous FDM's have worked between 30 and 40 hours weekly depending on their departmental needs.
• Greet and engage guests and address requests and concerns.
• Manage guest accounts by posting charges and handling cash and credit card transactions with accuracy.
• Works directly with GM and Events Office on hotel events, rates and third-party bookings.

Job Requirements:

• Be reliable and organized, demonstrating integrity handling company finances, property and time.
• Have a sense of responsibility and hospitality toward guests; be courteous and graceful.
• Be aware of and work toward effective inter departmental morale.
• Leadership experience in some capacity required.
• Some customer service experience preferred.
