The newly renovated Courtyard in the heart of Ballantyne is looking for an Operations Supervisor that wants to make an impact on our guests and community! The ideal candidate has excellent people skills, a strong work ethic and passion for hospitality. The Operations Supervisor will support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with running daily operations throughout the hotel.

The ideal Operations Supervisor candidate must illustrate the ability and drive to:

• Embrace the Courtyard culture, paying particular attention to the ongoing training of Talent to ensure the Courtyard signature service is always being provided
• Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in motivating the team and being the eyes and ears of guest services.
• Be the pulse of the building. In the know, managing it all and having fun
• “Owning” the desk and desk operations, striving to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity
• Be a natural leader that people gravitate to and love to emulate
• With an entrepreneurial spirit, run the desk, surrounding areas, bistro, and other hotel operations as if it is his/her own
• Create a fun, energized and comfortable working environment for both the Talent and him/herself
• Build strong relationships with departments to most efficiently operate the hotel
• Drive product quality and attract the “best in class” in our respective markets
• Be engaged with and accessible to the Talent at all times
• Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards, anticipates and addresses guests' service needs, assists individuals with disabilities, and thanks guests with genuine appreciation.
• Work in Bistro during peak hours by monitoring and maintains stock of breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast items and perform other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others and support entire team to reach common goals.
• Ensures adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Performs other reasonable job duties as requested.
• Always provides a professional image through appearance and dress
• Flexible schedule, must be able to work mornings and evenings

• Basic computer skills, willingness to learn
• Must be able to read, communicate effectively and have superb interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work well under pressure while retaining tact and composure when resolving guest complaints

• Must be able to work well independently and with others
