Position: Entry level -Packer - Operator

Location: Franklin Park, IL

Shift: 2nd shift: 2pm - 10pm; 3rd shift: 10pm - 6am

6pm-6am Rotating Schedule -12 hour shifts, 3 days one week, 4 days the following, off every other weekend

Wage: $18.36 - $21.21 based on experience

You will be responsible for manufacturing consumer products an using Thermoforming and Extrusion Equipment. We have multiple positions in multiple departments currently open.

Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You will have the ability to work with various teams and have a good problem-solving ability. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organization skills, and attention to detail. We are looking to hire for entry level ad skilled positions.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

Entry level-Packer @ $18/hour

• Following the company procedures and the manufacturer’s recommendations for operating equipment
• Responsible for picking, inspecting, packing and bagging product into boxes before they are shipped out to the client
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Report any quality defects to the machine operator or supervisor
• Work with the material handler and machine operator to ensure production demands are met
• Continually practicing safe operation and handling of all equipment, raw materials
• Remove small quantities of plastic flashing with hand files, scrapers, or sanders to produce cosmetically appealing and proper fitting parts.

This position is in our Plastics Facility in beautiful Franklin Park, Illinois.

• 1 – 3 years of related experience in manufacturing. – Packer
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and number series.
• Work in a manufacturing setting with varying temperature
• The ability to stand for 8-12 hrs.
