Food Service Storekeeper with our Food Service Department. This position works the 7:00 am – 3:30 pm shift.

Job Description:
This position receives, stores, verifies and issues materials, equipment and other items. Thoroughly inspects materials received for damaged and or missing. Break down bulk items received into proper units and issue according to accepted practices, move material from truck to storage using transport carts, forklifts, and appropriate lifting and moving techniques. Performs manual and clerical tasks involved in the distribution of supplies and materials. This is the entry/training level of the Supply, Inventory, and Warehousing job series. Incumbents at this level may require additional or experience to gain full proficiency in some or all of the job responsibilities.

FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE BACKGROUND CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.
High School Diploma or GED and at least four years of experience in assigned area, i.e. food service supplies and stores, shipping / receiving, inventory. Good computer skills and ability to lift 50 pounds with little or no assistance. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college OR High school diploma or GED AND One year of experience in shipping and receiving OR One year of experience at the lower level Supply/Warehouse Clerk 1 (FES010) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions require possession of valid driver's license.
