JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position reports directly to Fleet Operations Supervisor, under the direction of the VP of Fleet. Directly responsible for the booking, tracking, and on-time delivery of domestic vehicle shipments. The core focus for team members in this role is to ensure timely deliveries while still achieving high levels of profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES Include, but are not limited to:

· Plans and operationalizes loads with carriers booking open loads and monitoring accurate and timely information.

· Ensures on-going communication throughout the move, calling for updates on in transit orders.

· Confirms that carriers understand specific requirements and are following instructions specific to each order.

· Partnering with account managers regarding changes and delays keeping corporate clients informed.

· Consistently, thoroughly and in a timely manner adds notes updating orders touched to ensure accurate exchange of information and effective internal communication.

· Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential service failures and act on prevention.

· Participate in rotation plan for on-call support for weekend service.

· Successfully negotiates with carriers’ competitive fee structures that demonstrate cost containment.

· Accepting inbound and outbound calls, returning booking calls within one hour.

· Facilitates and encourages on-time performance in designated territory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
