Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand-new Fitness Center for UR staff and students. This position will work with existing and potential members. Candidate should possess strong customer service skills.
TYPICAL DUTIES
- Receives and greets members and customers.
- Promotes the Fitness Center, as well as provide tours and information to potential and new members.
- Work with current members that have questions or problems.
- Enroll new members and process payments for membership and programs.
- Performs data entry and maintains files.
- Ensures the safety and wellbeing of members.
- Monitors the Center for any issues and troubleshoots these as they arise.
- Cleans and maintains the facility and equipment during shift.
- Secure and lock up facility at closing time.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school education and 1-2 years related work experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Individual should possess outstanding customer service skills and a fair amount of computer knowledge.
