Summit Fire & Security, a member of Summit Companies, is a premier firm in the Fire Protection and Fire Life Safety industry. We are currently seeking Sprinkler Technicians to join our team.

The successful Sprinkler Technician must be dependable and mechanically inclined in laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install pipe systems and valves
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond pipes and tubes according to specifications
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings
• Remove and replace worn components
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques

Job Requirements:

• State fire sprinkler license
• A current driver’s license
• Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.+, safely use of ladders, work overhead and work in tight spaces
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school degree or equivalent
• Current Fire Sprinkler Licensee
