Coco is an upscale, upcoming, European cuisine, fine dining restaurant. Our menu, carefully crafted by Chef Jose Diaz, includes, crudos and seafood, pastas, simply grilled fishes and meats, delicacies such as truffles and caviar and exceptional desserts. The Server is responsible for providing guests with a positive dining experience through excellent product knowledge, strong sales skills, and a positive attitude. Uses sincere, warm and tailored hospitality to develop lasting guest relationships. Responsible for ordering and timing food and drinks for guests.

Major Responsibilities

· Provides maximum level of guest service and satisfaction

· Carries out all tasks necessary to prepare the restaurant for service prior to pre-shift.

· Attends and participates in pre-shift meetings.

· Follows and is responsible for the Sequence of Service guidelines

· Uses a soft sell/recommendation approach, applying thorough product knowledge.

· Rings orders and performs all necessary additional functions on the POS system.

· Checks identification of all guests under the age of 30 and complies with Alcohol Awareness guidelines.

· Maintains accurate financial records of the shift, including all discounts and comps and guest Information for OpenTable.

· Maintains cleanliness of work area.

· Completes daily and weekly side work on a consistent and thorough basis.

· Assists other staff members as necessary.

· Completes additional tasks as assigned by the management team.

· Keeps management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other staff members.

· Follows all company policies

Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years working in a fine dining restaurant

· Be a professional

· Be a team player

· Be punctual

· Have a positive attitude and smile

· Willing to follow instructions and adhere to Coco standards and sequence of service

· Able to read, understand and speak English. Able to communicate clearly and concisely.

· Knowledge of food and wine

· Attention to details

· Great people skills

· Able to remain calm and collected under stress

· Able to stand for an eight-hour shift.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Able to reach above head and bend to put items on the floor or low shelves.

· Able to work as part of a team for the benefit of the guest.

· Able to work at a consistently fast pace in a loud environment.

· Adheres to all Server expectations as per Coco’s standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week
