Financial Planning and Analysis Manager determine if this opportunity is right for you!
A Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A) is responsible for business forecasting, project analysis and tracking, creation and optimization of systems and processes, financial modeling and analysis and management reporting. A Financial Planning and Analysis Manager should be able to field questions about the company’s revenue and financial projections, providing preemptive answers to leadership team and provide oversight to analysts providing insights into the profit structure of the organization. This role is part of the Finance team.

A Financial Planning and Analysis Manager can be expected to perform the following tasks in this role as a routine part of their job:
Leads the Financial Planning and Analysis team in the data collection, business analysis, development of tactical and strategic insights and presentation of recommendations to management and operations.
  • Oversees the creation and development of the profitability reporting needs of individual strategic business units.
  • Supervises the accurate and on-time creation, preparation and publishing of daily, weekly and monthly financial and operational reports.
  • Leads analysts in ROI and NPV calculations in support of key strategic projects and initiatives led by Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Analyzes Brand portfolio for profitability and growth.
  • Supports the Sales and PMO teams with analyses and guidance optimization of costs.
  • Supports the Accounting and Pricing teams with ad-hoc analyses as required.
  • Oversees development of dashboards and reports for continued on-time analysis of projects during planning, implementation and post-launch.
Develops, interprets and implements financial modeling concepts and techniques related to strategic planning, project management, budgeting and forecasting to drive key business results.
Develops and consistently adapts the relevant business key performance indicators (KPIs) to execute on the strategic priorities of the organization.
Provides senior management with on-time and accurate financial reporting, insights and analysis to be used for strategic and tactical decision-making.
Motivates and provides positive leadership to the FP&A team.
  • Mentors, coaches, supports and provides guidance to team members in their roles, career path and professional development.
  • Provides opportunities and guidance that enable the transfer of learning into effective practice for team members.
  • Develops and provides learning opportunities related to the assessed needs of team members.
  • Supports the growth of leadership capability and develops leadership performance in others.

Here’s what you must have to be considered for this role…
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Related Field
  • Five to Seven Years Progressively Responsible Financial Analysis Experience
  • Advanced Technical Expertise; MS Office (Excel), Financial Systems/Applications, Database Querying, Microsoft Power BI
  • Ability to Grasp Complex Financial Structures and Models; And Work with Large Data Sets
  • Strong Communication, Presentation and Relationship Building Skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ability to maintain a sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time and operate computer equipment.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and twist is required for filing and general office duties.
  • Exerts up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and/or negligible amount frequently to move office-related items or materials.
  • Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating via email and preparing reports and other forms of documentation using company and industry software.
  • Ability to speak, hear, and see is required to communicate with employees, and to operate computers and office machinery.
  • Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various office equipment.
  • Continual hand/wrist motion is required to operate computers and office machinery.
  • Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety policies and best practices.
  • Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
