Position Summary

Pavion and our family of companies (CTSI, AFA, Structure Works, Star Asset Security, et al) is seeking a talented and motivated Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our growing team!

The qualified candidate will perform complex analyses to support and measure overall company results and effectively manage financial planning projects and resources to ensure project success. You will work with independence, interact regularly with business and corporate management to consolidate and analyze quarterly forecasts and plans, monthly financial results and key financial indicators. You will perform competitive analyses, research industry trends and develop recommendations for management.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Instinctively recognize inconsistencies in financial data and initiates and manage the appropriate corrective action
  • Calculate/measure progress towards executive compensation targets
  • Partner with corporate department leaders, demonstrate understanding of the financial analysis process and apply that knowledge to developing cost effective analyses and recommendations
  • Maintain dialog with executive management and business financial personnel to identify and evaluate evolving business issues
  • Manage special studies and analyses on an independent basis, assuming responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of the studies/analyses
  • Prepare materials for internal reviews and Board of Directors meetings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of financial planning & analysis experience in multinational corporations with increasing levels of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Working knowledge of Excel/Power Point/Word
  • Experience working with HFM and/or OneStream
  • Self-driven and highly motivated individual who can thrive in ambiguity, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with all organizational levels, including senior executives
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence without authority
  • Problem solver with strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Ability to listen effectively, evaluate the most critical elements, and communicate with team and management on an open and timely basis

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
