Position Overview:

Freddie Mac’s Finance Division is currently seeking a Financial Controller Professional to support monthly financial analytics and reporting function within Multifamily CFO group. This position is responsible for the provision of timely, accurate and reliable financial information. This role involves the preparation of monthly and quarterly analytical reports, which are utilized for internal and external reporting purposes. Other responsibilities may include preparation of general ledger journals, performing reconciliations, and ensuring successful execution of key and non-key controls.

Your Impact:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly analytical reports to support the financial close and 10K/10Q reporting processes

• Produce financial information for inclusion in Board reports, FHFA requests, news releases, and public financial reporting

• Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests and special projects

• Assist in analyzing the impacts of new business initiatives and transactions on processes and reporting

• Maintain effective working relationships with internal business partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field

• At least 2 years of related accounting and reporting experience

• Knowledge of GAAP financial accounting and reporting concepts

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

• Ability to work with and collaborate across the team

The anticipated annualized base salary range for this position is $69,000 to $103,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
