Robert Half is hiring dedicated candidates for a Financial Analyst position at a fast-growing company. In this position, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as have responsibility for measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will be relied on to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. As a team member, you will serve as a key business partner in areas like forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Located in the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida area. We seek someone who has internal drive and strong potential for professional growth and development. This position is not remote and/or hybrid.Key responsibilities
- Uncover the influencing factors that are driving performance and trends
- Operate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
- Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
- Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
- Study performance to date and examine potential risks and opportunities
- Edit and manage forecasting reports
- Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations
- Ideal candidate would have an adaptable nature and experience dealing with vast amounts of information while exceeding expectations
- Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
- Work next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
- Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans
- Decision-Making experience
- Reporting experience desired
- Strong familiarity with Perform Ad Hoc Financial
- Well-founded grasp of budget management
- Expertise in Workstation Support
- Practical knowledge of Business Decisions
- Proven knowledge of Business Unit
- Coordination experience highly desired
- General familiarity with Restructuring
- Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
- Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
- Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
- Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
- Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)
- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
