Houlihan Lokey has the largest, most experienced worldwide financial restructuring practice of any investment banking firm, with more than 300 professionals located in offices across the globe. FR hires new Financial Analysts to work specifically with the group, assisting with a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitions. The group offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that provide exposure to various financial advisory and investment banking products / services across a multitude of industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Advising clients in out-of-court and Chapter 11 balance sheet restructurings
  • Debt and equity financings
  • Distressed M&A advisory services
  • Special-situation buyside / investing advisory Financial Analysts and Associates are typically members of deal teams comprised of at least one Managing Director, Vice President, Associate, and Financial Analyst.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have a strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory, keen analytical capabilities, and excellent verbal and written communications skills. Candidates should be top rated performers in their current role with an established track record of exceptional prior reviews. COVID vaccination is required, subject to applicable state and federal law.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least one year of prior restructuring advisory (investment banking or financial advisory / turnaround consulting), distressed investing, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, bankruptcy law or similar related experience is required
  • B.A. or B.S. in finance, accounting, business or applied economics and / or course work in accounting and finance is highly recommended; an MBA is not required
  • Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
  • Strong financial and computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff
  • Strong analytical abilities; including financial modeling skills
Salary Range
Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:
$105,000.00-$125,000.00
Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
