Our Lexington campus is ready to grow, and our world-class team is looking for a Financial Analyst.

You'll be responsible for:

• Provide reporting and analysis of P&L, capital investments, and cash flow.
• Develop analytics around key performance indicators, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc.
• Presentation and delivery to senior management.
• Advise management on the financial impact of business cases and strategy.
• Perform variance and trend analysis on product, customer, cost, and margin on a monthly, quarterly, YTD, and ad-hoc basis.
• Assist with and perform month-end closing, reporting, and analysis.
• Prepare and record accrual/deferral journal entries as required and necessary.
• Perform reconciliations, balancing and provide commentary on movements of general ledger accounts.
• Perform periodic inventory reconciliations and reporting (rail cars / raw materials / WIP / finished goods).
• Work with Accounting staff to identify and properly classify capital expenses.
• Assist with preparing financial forecasts and budgets, monthly, quarterly, annually, and ad-hoc.
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate cost and expense variances to management.
• Develop and assist with departmental and business-wide continuous and process improvement projects.
• Create, leverage, and deploy financial models for own use and use by other staff; document models and processes.
• Partner with management on various projects, related data requests, and financial reports to support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc duties as required and necessary to support the business.

Requirements:

• Associates degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization, including diverse cultures.
• Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities, and sound decision-making.
• Strong work and personal ethics.
• Proven Account management experience
• Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
• Expert at Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing dynamic environment.

• Demonstrated advanced to expert level skills with Microsoft Excel and comfortable with report writing software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of business experience with a financial/analytical focus in a manufacturing environment.
