Matthiesen, Wickert & Lehrer, S.C., a growing national subrogation and litigation firm with offices in Hartford, WI; New Orleans, LA; Santa Ana, CA; Austin, TX; Jacksonville, FL; and Boston, MA, is seeking a reliable and proactive File Intake candidate to join our rapidly growing team at our headquarters in Hartford, WI. Candidate must be detail-oriented and comfortable with handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Open files electronically
- Calendaring immediate deadlines and notifying the same to the handling attorney/paralegal
- Update contact records
- Various data entry
- Backup receptionist as needed (answering calls, sorting mail, etc.)
- Assist Firm Administrator with various projects as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers, etc.)
- Multitasking and prioritizing
- Professional phone etiquette
- Dependability
- Attention to detail
- Prior experience in an office setting a plus
Salary is negotiable, health/dental/vision insurance provided, 401(k) with employer contribution.
