Job description

Responsibilities and Duties - Must be able to travel from job site to job site to conduct pole inspections & document physical conditions of poles easily with our Utility Pole Inspection app— take notes, photos, plot GPS points & more.

• Conduct utility pole inspections easily and examine and document physical conditions, damage, vandalism, or replacement needs.
• Review plant activities, power supplies, take Photographs,
• Check if any Pedestals need to be replaced.
• Provide Notes on as built maps, call out areas of issues and where map does not meet Plant
• Use app to take photos of damaged or destroyed poles, mark GPS locations, and note time, date, and issues found during inspection including the condition of transformers, wires, and other equipment.
• Attend site walks and walk the site for fielding notes and measurements Carry equipment for fielding notes.
• Ability to write reports, correspondence and documentation This information will be used by our engineers to create plans for new telecommunication construction.
• Ideal candidates will have experience in the construction industry and be able to conduct ISP/OSP field surveys.
• Fielding of site surveys which can include verification of Coax and Fiber plant and communication infrastructure plus the drawing of the site survey.
• Basic knowledge of aerial plant requirements would be helpful as well, but we can provide training.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate should know OSP and has fielded poles.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
