Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Atlas is continually looking for opportunities to forge long lasting working relationship with talented professionals with a background in Construction Material Testing (CMT). We are seeking technician trainees and experienced personnel to perform inspection/testing activities on materials. The job will be based in the Idaho Falls/Pocatello area.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen, no dual citizenship
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Read/follow/write procedures
  • One or more years of construction/CMT experience.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods of time, and work outdoors
  • A valid driving license, with a clean driving record, proof of insurance
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, and random tests after hire
  • Must have a professional work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing. Work in a cooperative and courteous manner with the public, contractors, supervisors, and other department staff.
  • OSHA 10 Certification

Technical Requirements (Preferred, but we will train):

  • Candidate will be required to pursue relevant certifications for various disciplines such as ACI-Field, Nuclear Gauge Testing Technician, etc. within 60 days of employment
  • General computer skills
  • Complete/submit field reports accurately
  • ACI Field Certification
  • ICC Certification (Soil, Concrete, Masonry, etc..
  • WAQTC certifications
