The Ralph S. Alberts Company, Inc. in Montoursville is a small, family-owned business that specializes in custom molding. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to help create scenic fiberglass art and other customized work for the amusement park industry.

This opening is for our third shift production which runs 4 days a week Sunday - Wednesday 9:00PM - 7:30AM (10 hour shifts). Third shift offers a 15% shift differential which is included in the starting rate. This position may require overtime.

What you will do:
In this position, candidates will utilize various fiber reinforced plastic materials to create and fabricate products to support the amusement park industry.

Responsibilities:

• Working as a small team and individually to create quality products for fiberglass scenic elements.
• Ability to solve mold-making process challenges and innovate on strategies/methods.
• Ability to stay focused and productive throughout the day.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Sanding and trimming as well as other secondary requirements

Requirements:

• Familiarity with hand tools
• Basic mathematics skills
• Proven record of good attendance
• The ability to lift 50 pounds alone or with a partner
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work overtime
• Must be willing to get fitted for a respirator

Additional skills that would be helpful:

• Experience with composites such as fiberglass, resins, gel coats, and catalyst
• Experience or knowledge with pneumatic grinders / saws

A pre-employment physical and drug test is required; however, medical marijuana cards are accepted for most positions. Background checks are also performed on all applicants.

Vacation/sick time is offered after 90 days of employment. Competitive benefit package also offered after 90 days of employment. 401K enrollment after 1 year of service.
