Female Night Watch DSS:
Wed-Sat 11pm-8am Stafford, TX
Fulshear Treatment to Transition is a long term, residential, mental health program for young adult women; 18-24. Our clients have acute mental health issues (depression, anxiety, trauma, etc). We take a holistic approach to mental health treatment, where we believe that healthy relationships and positive experiential moments guide our clients to transitions in life. Alongside this they are maintaining a treatment plan. Clients become healthy, strong and influential young adult women. We change lives.
What we are looking for:
We hire people not resumes. Having experience in the mental health industry, honestly for Fulshear, that's not always true. We look for people who are passionate about helping another, who can make connections and build successful relationships with our clients. Our DSS model appropriate behavior, self-care and are honest about holding boundaries and trust with accountability. Mentors also aid the client in their program work; talk about their therapeutic assignments. At Fulshear, we have developed a training program that gives our staff the skills and knowledge to be successful. We encourage growth and pride ourselves on positive, nonjudgmental feedback.
Responsibilities:
Work Summary:
- Providing safety and care for young adult women in a residential treatment center. The clients are 18-24 year old women with acute mental illness.
- Night watch mentors complete quiet checks on the clients every 30 minutes and create a safe atmosphere while the clients are asleep.
- Night watch mentors are there to support clients who may be sick or have a hard time sleeping.
- Night watch mentors are encouraged to bring quiet activities to do if all the clients are asleep- crafts, studying, crossword puzzles etc.
- Night watch mentors complete basic charting on the computer after each shift
- Night watch mentors complete basic chores and tasks that can be done quietly during the night time hours

Qualifications:
Some housecleaning items that are a must:
Must be 21 or older. We provide transportation for our clients, so for insurance purposes mentors must be at least 21. With that being said a clean driving record, background check and clear drug screening are required for employment.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in working with adolescents/young adults preferred
- Female
- Team Collaboration, Trusting relationships, growth mindset, customer loyalty, and result driven
- Clean driving record, background check, and drug screen required
- Night watch mentors must be able to stay awake during their shift
- Weekly team meetings required
- Basic computer skills needed
