Founder's House of Hope is an assisted living facility for the elderly community ages (59+) located in Artesia, CA. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Wellness Coordinator who has the passion to help the elderly and enjoys working in a fast pace environment.

Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts

Job Description

• Oversee Med Techs and Caregivers (Supervisor)
• Oversees entire operation of Med Room (*office will be located inside med room*)
• Maintains monthly staff schedule for department
• Drafts and administers corrective actions for department
• Maintains monthly staff CEU training for department
• Audits/reviews refills for the med room
• Handles call-offs, finds coverage for department
• Reviews FES for completion of ADL's, meal rosters, status checks, daily log, etc.
• Responsible for New Hire Onboarding process
• Coordinators with lead caregiver to schedule new employee shadowing
• Coordinates and maintains resident shower list schedule
• Submits order for monthly incontinence supplies for residents (Medline)
• Secondary to complete potential resident assessments (Director is Primary)
• Assists with direct care and covering shifts as needed
• All Non-medical related in-service will be prepared and led by Wellness Coordinator
• Backup Driver
