Mid-sized Apparel company based in Midtown Manhattan has an immediate opening for a full time experienced Fabric Buyer..
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the purchasing of all production textiles for each division.
- Daily communication with mills, needs to follow up w dips, shipping samples and delivery dates.
- Communicate daily with overseas factories for information and track orders & troubleshoot any quality problems
- Work with design and merchandise during meetings to review fabric needsfor sourcing.
-Applicant must have experience in the field and be familiar with consumption, colors, fabric Qualities, and different components.
Need to be able to read shipping docs
Applicant MUST be knowledgable with Microsoft Office, Outlook and specifically Excel and its formulas.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
