ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers and servers.
• Ensure all bars are stocked with adequate amounts of beer, liquor, juices, etc.
• Keep work area, liquor room and beer cooler neat and organized.
• Keep work area adequately stocked.
• Provide information to customers in a courteous manner.
• Inform manager of any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Follow policies and procedures pertaining to money-handling and bookwork.
• Monitor liquor system as to refilling empty bottles.
• Prepare work area for service (i.e. cut fruit, wash dishes, etc.).
• Clean up and close down the bar (i.e. mopping, etc.).
• Follow all policies and procedures pertaining to responsible liquor service.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Accurate cash handling skills.
• Courteous, pleasant personality.
• Able to take initiative.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Knowledge of products.
• Knowledge of liquor service techniques.

• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Mobility throughout the facility.
• Able to carry heavy liquor bottles and cases of beer.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
