Position Highlights
Join the dynamic team at Tucson Village Farm and assist with our educational programming. We are seeking candidates that are passionate for youth development. A person in this position, works with the 4-H Youth Development Program called Tucson Village Farm. They will work closely with the 4-H Agent to facilitate out of school time programs for youth of all ages in Pima County.

Duties & Responsibilities

Day Camp Programming

  • Provides leadership for and coordinates Tucson Village Farm's Farm Camp Summer Camp, including planning, designing and facilitating farm to table programming for youth ages 5-12.
  • Recruits, trains and manages correspondence with 4-H Healthy Living Ambassadors serving as volunteers and leaders in the program.
  • Manages day to day operations of camp programming.

Weekend Programs

  • Recruits, trains, schedules and coordinates weekend programming. This includes coordinating UArizona interns, AmeriCorps members and community volunteers.
  • Oversees that programming meeting the educational outcomes outlined by Tucson Village Farm staff and agent.
  • Designs, develops and creates innovate programming and projects for Arizona 4-H, Pima County and the Tucson community

Grant Management
1. Assists agents with grant oversight and management including writing reports, tracking participants and attending grant required meetings.
2. Assists agents with finding and writing new grants to support programmatic efforts.



Minimum Qualifications
  • Up to 1 year of relevant work experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
