What will you be doing in this role?

Under the direction of the Director of EVS, the EVS Supervisor plans, organizes, supervises, coordinates and controls EVS activities necessary to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall aesthetic condition of the facility in an operative and safe working condition. Performs in accordance with the local codes and legislations, Joint Commission guidelines and requirements, and facilities policies and procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the control of expenses in the department.

Instructs and trains employees in the use of equipment, cleaning methods and linen procedures.

Plans the daily activities of assigned personnel and periodically inspects jobs completed for quality of work and compliance with all EVS standards.

Responsible for staffing and controlling overtime/process payroll.

Assists in the hiring, training, counseling, and evaluation of the staff.

Maintains an inventory of cleaning materials, supplies and equipment.

Shift: 3pm-11:30pm

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required).
• Additional languages (preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills (required).
• Basic computer knowledge (required)
