Job Title: EVS Cleaner
Location: Jamaica Plain, MA 02130, United States
Max Pay rate $22/hr on W2

Start date ASAP

Morning 7am-3:30pm + Every Other Weekend (both Sat and Sun)
Evening 2pm-10:30pm + Every Other Weekend (both Sat & Sun)

Job Duties/Essential Functions:

• Performs day-to-day EVS/housekeeping services to the hospital to ensure a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and washes floors, using appropriate equipment and supplies to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hospital.
• Dusts, polishes, and washes interior surfaces such as windows furniture, walls, ceilings, etc., using appropriate supplies and equipment in order to maintain building in a clean and orderly condition.
• Prepares beds after washing using appropriate linen supplies and removes/hangs window draperies and bedside curtains as needed.
• Cleans toilets, lavatories, washrooms, mop closets, etc., using appropriate supplies and equipment in order to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of such areas.
• Distributes clean linen to patient care and ancillary departments.
• Empties and relines trash receptacles, paying particular attention to the safe and proper handling of hazardous waste.
• Collects soiled linen to aid in the operation of the laundry function.
• Performs lifting and moving activities such as stocking oxygen tanks and furniture
• Arranges and prepares conference
