Description:
The primary responsibility of the Event Setup Houseperson is to set up and tear down for functions of the hotel as directed by the Event Setup Supervisor and Leads. This position is also responsible for using and storing equipment appropriately. The Event Setup Houseperson must be able to listen and communicate effectively, as well as meet deadlines. This position is responsible for supporting its teammates, as well as the Event Services Department.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow direction and communicate effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift a moderate amount of weight.
- Ability to be on feet and in motion for entirety of shift.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
