We are bringing Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel - The Exhibition to Memphis at the Renasant Convention Center and are looking for an exhibition manager for the run of show between May 5, 2023 and June 10, 2023.

The Event/Exhibition Manager, reporting to the COO, will work as a member of promoter and operations team to support the run of the event to build a high-quality experience and a positive relationship with customers and staff.

Position Elements:

• Ensure that guest service standards, emergency contacts and procedures, general show and ticketing information, box office procedures, and merchandise procedures are followed during the run of the event
• Coordinate/assist with load-in needs/event set-up
• Create initial schedule for staff
• Schedule, coordinate, and conduct staff training prior to exhibition opening
• Set-up box office area and merchandise shop with the operations liaison and scheduled staff
• Assist with hiring part-time employees and independent contractors as needed
• Coordinate/assist with operations load-out needs
• Break down box office area, conduct end of show merchandise inventory, and pack-up/break down merchandise area
• Once production is clear of the venue, ensure final walk is done with venue for turnover and ensure that applicable services acquired for the venue have been canceled
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with staff, curators, show producers, local promoters, venue management, and outside vendors.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the live entertainment or event industry
• Touring experience preferred
• General knowledge of immersive exhibits
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail
• Secondary language fluency a plus
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to:
• Deal tactfully at all levels

• Work effectively in a highly collaborative and communicative team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
