The Event Concierge is the liaison between the Event Sales and/or Event Planning Manager and the on-site meeting contact. This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests. It requires detailed knowledge of the hotel meeting facilities, group dynamics, and event details.

Responsibilities:

• Working the floor to support banquets and events while verifying that everything is accurate and not being stationed at a desk
• Support client’s needs/satisfaction and ensure that is the point of contact between the client and all other departments such as Events, OPS, BQTS, CS, ENG, HSKP, CUL, Stewarding, Valet and AV
• Attend Resume Meetings, Pre-Cons, EO Meeting
• Track boxes for clients both pre-arrival and post-departure. Bill clients accordingly for packages for package handling fees and shipping not covered by the hotel
• Create all menu selection signage for meal functions and any additional directional to help with the flow of groups
• Use hotel radio to communicate internally to appropriate departments whatever client needs may exist (room temperature, bathroom cleanliness, room set up changes, etc.) Radio should be charged overnight and worn at all times, no exceptions.
• Schedule will be determined and reviewed by Event Services (BQTS) and Events on a weekly basis based on the incoming groups.
