Epic Machinist

We are looking for an Epic Machinist who is passionate about machining and always looking to learn. Someone who is experienced and can confidently run and troubleshoot HAAS CNC vertical milling centers independently. The ideal candidate excels in attention to detail and can deburr efficiently in small areas. We are really looking for an absolute rockstar machinist who loves coming in every day as we've built an awesome company and want to share it with others who have the same level of passion for American manufacturing.

The Epic Machinist will set up and operate HAAS CNC vertical milling centers (VMCs). You will perform complete setup, loading, unloading, inspecting, deburring and pinning aluminum molds for fishing lures. Understanding of G&M code for troubleshooting purposes required. You will perform preventative maintenance of CNC machines, replace tools in the milling centers, and help with other general shop operations. Must be able to meet physical demands of occasional lifting, and other physical tasks as required. And of course, you’ll get to make some fishing lures too.

The role is based at our Epic Bait Molds headquarters in West Melbourne, Florida. This is a FULL TIME position with the hours of 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. You will be eligible for a pre-tax health stipend program through QSEHRA after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period. Pay starts at $30-35 per hr depending on experience.
