Capital Resin Coporation is currently recruiting for an Environmental Specialist. This position will be directly responsible for Environmental Compliance and Reporting, including RCRA, Air Permits, NPDES/Storm Water Permit and SARA Reporting Deliverables. Also will be responsible for MSDS generation, compliance of DOT labeling of products and supporting EH&S policies and programs.
1. Responsible for hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, storm water management, and industrial waste discharge.
2. Responsible for coordinating permit updates or additions and compliance with all air, water, and waste permits and the associated reporting.
3. Generates MSDS’s and DOT shipping descriptions for all products. Functions as the Transportation Distribution Safety Advisor.
4. Responsible for Annual Toxic Inventory reporting (TRI/Form R); SARA Tier II reporting; Monthly Store water NPDES 4500 reporting; Quarterly, Semiannual and Annual air reporting to include PER reports and Fee emission reports; and Annual Hazardous Waste reporting.
5. Monitors regulatory compliance changes that impact the company. Ensures that the company holds appropriate permits/registrations for onsite activities.
6. Support and helps coordinate EH&S policies & programs.
7. Responsible for the development and implementation of Environmental awareness and DOT hazardous materials training for affected Associates.
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred, other engineering/technical degrees will be considered; 0-5 years of experience. Recent Grads are encouraged to apply. Must have strong verbal and written communications, excellent organizations skills and attention to detail is required. Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, & Access.

Experience:
- EHS: 1 year (Preferred)
