Summary:
This position contributes to operational effectiveness of Division by providing outstanding customer service; through operating various machines while maintaining quality, accuracy on stock and customer orders. This position works 4 10 hour days. Shift hours are 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Possible overtime may be required.
- Load and unload machine.
- Inspect product at timely intervals to assure quality.
- Keep machines and warehouse clean daily.
- Overall shop organization with inventory items.
- Work with adjusters to achieve safety and minimize waste.
- Assemble product for shipping.
- Place incoming products into inventory.
- Perform other functions as necessary.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read a ruler
- Ability to use pallet jack / forklift
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
- Detail oriented, able to work with little direct supervision; well organized, with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects and effectively follow through on projects.
- Strong critical thinking, questioning, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and in an environment full of deadlines, providing accurate output.
- Approachable, flexible, adaptable to change.
- Warehouse environment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time; regularly lift 25 - 50lbs.
- Frequent use pallet jack / forklift
- Little contact with customers and vendors.
- Occasional overtime and participation in physical inventory required.
- 2nd shift hours, 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
