Job Summary:

This position will identify logistics requirements and associated product support for the Program Manager Aviation Mission Systems and Architecture (PM AMSA) and effectively design, develop, acquire, and apply the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to ensure PM AMSA mission success.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of BA/BS

Experience working as an effective team member providing logistics support capability and solve complex life-cycle logistics problems.

Requirements:

Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Valid state driver’s license.

Travel:

CONUS and OCONUS travel is required.

Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.

Essential Duties:

Support the acquisition development, implementation, deployment, sustainment, and assessment of processes, procedures, plans and policies to acquire and sustain the PM AMSA weapon systems throughout the integrated defense acquisition, technology, and logistics life cycle management system.

The types of support required includes: 1) engineering and technical support; 2) studies, analyses, and evaluations, and 3) management and professional services.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

Ability to apply sound judgment to develop life-cycle logistics policies, plans, procedures, and documents.

Ability to identify and apply concepts, policies and practices of logistics management as they apply to new and legacy systems during the acquisition and sustainment phase of the life-cycle.

Ability to use applicable methods and tools to effectively mitigate risks, including planning for risk, assessing risk areas and developing risk management options.

Experience executing and maintaining product support requirements for Government Furnished Property (GFP), transportation, Property Accountability, non-tactical vehicles, Item Unique Identification (IUID), and Communication Security mission equipment and requirements.

Experience identifying and applying logistics product data and making recommendations regarding legacy/operational products and services for improvement during operation and sustainment of the life cycle logistics phase.

Demonstrate purchasing and procurement, packaging, handling, storing, and transporting, receiving and issue, and inventory management of various product support equipment, repair parts, tools, consumable items, hazardous materials in CONUS and OCONUS.

Pay: $42,811.74 - $87,330.59 per year
