We’re looking for a full-time, Entry Level Staff Electrical Designer to join our Mason & Hanger team located near one of the following office locations: Lexington, KY | Virginia Beach, VA | Glen Allen, VA. Relocation assistants is available.

As the (Entry Level) Staff Electrical Designer, here’s the work you’ll do:

Designing exciting projects throughout the US and across the globe in support of our mission of Building a More Secure World.

You will be modeling electrical and technology systems for national and international mission critical facilities using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, designing lighting using Visual software, and researching, evaluating, and designing projects with guidance and mentoring from a professional engineer.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• AutoCAD/Revit and/or Bentley MicroStation/AECOsim proficiency
• Ability to learn to design building lighting, power distribution, and/or telecommunications and security, or other electrical systems

And if you have these qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design, Electrical Engineering, EE Technology, or related field is preferred)
• Prior experience with CAD and/or BIM on the job or in school, Microsoft Office suite
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a government security clearance
