OUR MISSION

Perry Health is on a mission to rethink chronic care delivery through a purely-remote, continuous care model. This remote-first approach allows us to extend high-quality specialist care to all patients, regardless of geography or other care disparities. Although we plan on making Perry available to every patient with a chronic illness, we're starting with a focus on Medicare patients living with diabetes. Perry's remote care fills the necessary gap between physician appointments for our patients.

We equip our patients with cellular-connected devices (glucometers, blood pressure cuffs, etc.) that transmit data passively upon use, allowing even the most tech naive patient to participate. This real-time data flows to Perry's team of clinicians (physicians, nurses, dietitians), who monitor trends in the data and deliver proactive care over the phone. We've built a proprietary continuous-care Electronic Health Record (EHR), which can ingest these data pipelines and build elegant workflows on top of them for our clinical staff. Facing a chronic disease alone is overwhelming and isolating, and we aim to alleviate that emotional burden by providing care to our members 24/7.

Our high-touch approach to chronic care management creates tangible outcomes for our members and thousands of dollars in savings to the system by preventing hospitalizations, and we're just getting started.


ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for experienced, seasoned sales professionals with call center experience. You are passionate about helping seniors improve their quality of life through remote care. In this role, you will be responsible for inbound and outbound phone sales with the goal of enrolling qualified leads in the Perry Health Program. Experience with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, HMO's and dual coverage is a plus but not required. This is not a role where you will be expected to cold call. All calls are to users that have submitted an inbound inquiry about our program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become a subject matter expert on our program and product offering
  • Make outbound calls to leads who have expressed interest in our program
  • Serve as the first 'Perry' voice members hear and offer an empathetic approach to achieving a consent
  • Educate potential members on our program and ensure they understand the value our services can offer
  • Ensure potential members are aware of what's required of their participation to ensure our consents are committed members
  • Take warm transferred calls from third party services who have potential members for our platform and close the consent
  • Have the ability to think quickly and react in real time to leads' questions or concerns
  • Determine leads' eligibility for our program; including but not limited to validating their insurance and calculating their out of pocket expenses
  • Prep consented members for their first clinical appointment and encourage their continued participation
  • Commit to being a team player, driven not only by individual on-target-earnings but the teams overall success

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of recent sales experience
  • Strong relationship development and impeccable communication skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Bonus if you are fluent in Spanish
  • Health insurance experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience using Salesforce a plus

NOTABLE MENTIONS

  • Our team works four days a week, 11 hour shifts (inclusive of 1 hour lunch break)
  • The schedule is up to 40 hours per week; must work 1 weekend day weekly. May include late afternoon or evening shifts (until 10pm EST).
  • Compensation is $18/hr plus commission
  • Location: This position is remote, working from home. Applicants should be reliable self-starters, who can stay focused on the tasks at hand during working hours
  • Sales experience is a must. You will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions on top of your base pay.
