POSITION Engineering Support
REPORTS TO Director of Operations
SUMMARY
Support operations by developing robust processes, auditing and optimizing existing processes. Review, validate, monitor, refine and implement the manufacturing process of work order with a critical eye.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None – accountable to the production team - your internal customer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and validate information in work order packets
- Read and obtain information from work orders and complete Post-Kit activities (real time updating tool sheet(s), internal operations of work order, program changes) in collaboration with machinists (2-3 hours/day)
- Clean up outdated information in work order packet
- Validate tool sheet(s), investigate history of part, post-kit review and follow up
- Collaborates with operations and engineering on multiple projects for mechanical, applications/systems implementation and upgrades, based on specific business requirements
- Think critically, analyze problems, effectively troubleshoot to make decisions by generating, evaluating and implementing solutions in collaboration with others
- Contribute to a team environment by intently focusing on detail, internal processes and continuous improvement
- Promote and support all safety, health and wellness practices, policies and procedures
- Contribute to own learning and development of the role and future growth opportunities
- Performs all other job duties as required

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical engineering degree, or a related technical degree or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Pass a background check and drug test
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Stand for long periods of time, walk, push and pull < 40 lbs.
- Required to have fine motor hand dexterity
- Sight, depth and visual perception needed
- High concentration vital
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,561.57 - $65,000.00 per year
